Bowflex Revolution FT Home Gym Review

I've been looking for a new all-in-one home gym to complement the dumbbell and weight bench setup I have right now in my basement. One of the newest and most interesting home gyms on the market is the Bowflex Revolution FT gym. This thing is freaking amazing! I've been able to give it a test run at my friend's house and and I figure I'd write a quick and dirty review. First off, all I can say is that after just 2 weeks of using it I'm hooked! :)

The FT is truly a unique home gym with an incredible level of flexibility and exercise options. Since the bench isn't attached to the machine you have a wide range of angles to choose from on nearly every exercise. The extremely inovative "SpiraFlex" plates provide a really unique form of resistance that's difficult to describe. You really just have to try it to understand but overall the Bowflex Revolution FT provides a great, intense resistance workout that in many ways surpasses free weight exercises.

The only thing I don't like about this home gym is that the tension in the resistance cords lessens kind of quickly. But fortunately Bowflex has provided a special knob that you turn to easily reduce the slack and get the tension back up. You'll need to do this every few workouts but it's not a huge pain in the butt.

In conclusion I think that if you're looking for a good home gym for under $1500 you should definitely buy a Bowflex Revolution FT. It's an all-in-one workout device that provides a huge array of strength training exercises and yet only takes up a small amount of floor space!

Please leave your own reviews and opinions of the Revolution FT below. Thanks!

It looks impressive.
Well, I guess going to the gym to lose weight is much ideal because for one thing they have all of the equipment you would need to have. For me, the advantage of working out at the home gym is only convenience.
